Bookings

  • A booking made online, by phone or in person is confirmed once we have confirmed it to you.
  • Please bring your vehicle at the agreed time with its locking wheel nut key, if fitted. If you are running late, call us so we can try to keep your slot.
  • If you need to cancel or rearrange, please let us know as early as possible.

Prices and quotes

  • Prices on our website are a guide and include VAT where we charge it. The price for your vehicle is confirmed when you book or when we inspect it.
  • If we find extra work is needed, we will contact you with a quote and will not carry it out without your agreement, unless it is needed to complete the work you approved and is minor.

MOT tests

  • MOT tests are carried out to the standards set by the DVSA. The result is recorded on the DVSA's database.
  • If your vehicle fails, we will explain why and quote for the repairs. Retest terms follow DVSA rules and will be explained at the time.

Payment and collection

  • Payment is due when the work is finished, before the vehicle is released, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Please collect your vehicle when we tell you it is ready. If it is not collected within a reasonable time, we may charge a storage fee, which we will tell you about first.

Parts and workmanship

  • Parts are new and of matching quality unless we agree otherwise. Replaced parts can be returned to you if you ask before the work starts.
  • If you are unhappy with any work, contact us as soon as possible and give us the chance to inspect and put it right.

Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care of your vehicle while it is with us. We are not responsible for valuables left in the vehicle, or for faults that were already present and not part of the work you asked for. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Your personal data

See our Privacy Policy.

Complaints and law

If something goes wrong, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom where our garage is located.
